Would this be a wise idea?

Is it a good idea to privately transfer money from PayPal? Is it safe? Has anyone done it before?

The reason I ask is because This person is (possibly) offering to sell me a phone privately (after he lowered the price from what it was on his site). Should it be necessary, would anyone else recommend a private sale?

i think it is the bad idea to communicate directly with out payapal....think wise before u do any thing

Be very careful if the person is rushing you to send payment, you could get scammed.

I guess you should go with your gut instinct on this one. It's not unusual for people to sell things privately--I have done it many times with no problems.

I think you should first contact paypal.then you do the transcation.That will be better.
