What is the most effective Antivirus for you?

Norton Antivirus is what I use. Pretty reliable.

I'm using Kaspersky Antivirus recently .It's as reliable as Norton Antivirus.

i use symantec which is not included here

AVG.But now I have problem with AVG...Now I will have to clean up my computer due to the virus......

AVG has been pretty good so far. My only complains are:

When it puts in the toolbar on your browser, anytime your mouse hovers over it, a big stupid box shows up. Really hard to get rid of, so I just disabled the toolbar altogether.

Also, whenever you open the main window, there is a nag box asking you to upgrade - but its free software, so what do you expect?

And finally, I use a laptop sometimes that doesn't always have an internet connection, and it will ALWAYS try to update whenever you start it, take it out of hibernate mode, or take it out of standby.


Other than that, its decent software.

My vote is for Kaspersky.Kaspersky is good software.
