SI blogrush effective way to promote a Blog?

Is blogrush effective way to promote a Blog?Okay for those who dont know about blogrush,Its a website which offers an widget to place in our site.the widget randomly shows some newer posts on blogs with the related topics of your blog.So all blogs which placed this blogrush widget will be have ads shared equally.But i haven't got much results using this.
