DHTML is making HTML pages dynamic.

DHTML is a combination of technologies used to create dynamic and interactive Web sites.

DHTML means combination of HTML, Style Sheets and JavaScript.

Well DHTML is not used a lot lately, as nowadays PHP is being used more and more, DHTML is outdated I think, less users are using it, not worth making a website in DHTML, besides that it's not that powerful.

DHTML - old way to create dynamic pages ( ex. Countdowns ), but in nowadays we are using PHP and ASP for this kind of scripts. You can code your script for dynamic data entrys with DHTML, but you need to know, that the best way to code dynamic data is using ASP language.
