Use Technorati to get backlinks
I've found that Technorati is awesome for building backlinks. The way I use it is like this, I use Technorati's search tool to find other blogs that talk about the same thing as I do, then I visit those blogs and look for a recent comments widget in he sidebar.
Often that widget will be dofollow, and so if I comment on their blog, then the next time they post a blog and ping Technorati, the Technorati spider will see my link in their widget and give me extra authority. Of course if they add you to their blogroll or link to you in a post then that also counts.

Yes, I agree with you. Technorati is good for building backlinks.
