Commenting on blogs doesn't always get backlinks

I've discovered that not all blog commenting is worth the effort for building backlinks. Most blogs on blogger, typepad, and wordpress.com have the nofollow tag so you don't actually get a good backlink in the search engines.

It can still be worthwhile commenting because the owner of the blog and some of the other commenters might visit your website, but if you want backlinks you need to find blogs that don't have the nofollow.

Do you have websites names which have nofollow.

I agree, so I would suggest to go to do follow blogs directory and look for sites. Or it will be time consuming if you'll need to check each of the sites. But commenting to a blog still can bring some visitors especially if you give informational comments.

If you do decide to build links with blog comments make sure you write worthwhile comments and use your name, rather than a keyword as your name - otherwise it will be viewed as spam and will likely be removed from the blog admin.

Because you are commenting on nofollow blog. Make sure you comment on bogs that share its PR>

Yeah even if you are commenting on a dofollow blog and then what if by next month the blog owner just decided to turn it off and put nofollow on links? How's that? I've encountered lots of blogs that were dofollow before and on your next visit they were already nofollow.

After 2-3 weeks all the dofollow links will turn into nofollow backlinks resulting in decreasing SERPs.

It is really nice to hear about blog commenting & backlinks, but I belive that blog commenting will increase WEB traffic, even I have got plenty of visitors by blog commenting on various sites too, I have used most of the blogger.com blogs as mostly they have allow to put links there,
