Default Directory links

Do you think it helps in getting good PR by submitting to directories. Thats a fact that the link from general directories aren't relevant to your website unless it is a niche directory so therefore how good are they if compared to regular text links at some content site.

I think it does. I got a pr 3 on my image hosting site just from manual submitting to about 1200 different directories.

General directories are related to your web site. That is the purpose of having categories. Of course, niche directories do add a little more focus than general directories. If you make the effort of writing quality, unique descriptions the content will help you. Many submitters overlook how important descriptions can be. Used properly, directories are one of the best ways of acquiring quality inbound links.

Yep, it does. Do a mass directory submit. Even directories not related to your niche prove beneficial.

Bottom Line: More links, more PR, more traffic!

Directories submission will help on the PR, but not much actually. I will prefer to submit comment on dofollow blog compare to directories
