Default Animation vs Static

When making graphics such as logos , banners and other things do you prefer animation or static. I like doing small animations with the text as long as its not to much.

I agree with ami_yash. There are some thing which you would like to animate but there are other banners which look odd on animation. So until it looks nice then you can animate.

i'm for animated... but not too much ... i mean, there are guys that make animations that make website goes harder, maybe they put dirrectly a swf file and there are still people that don't have shockwave or flash player installed and can't see that. i preffer animated... but .gif. it works much faster and it's easier to create. [in my opinion]

I prefer animated on a few things, not all of them. Some things i would animate like the navigation bar. Gifs are probabaly the most compatible right now, but I think flash is being installed on just about every PC now so that should be safe to switch to in a few years or so.

I like to do animation for header only as for SEO purpose it is very difficult to do SEO for flash site so I prefer animation in header only.

It depends on the situation for me too ^^

Sometimes static image is better than animation.... vice versa... ^^

That depends on ur choice.if u need ur site to be more attractive u can prefer using animated banners. But animated banners can slow down ur site loading. But your site looks more stylish when u r using animated banners.Logos need to always static.
