Shifting of domain name

I am planning to shift my domain to a new server. Do you guys know the procedure for doing that? WHom should i contact first? My new host or old host?

No need to contact any Host. Just goto your domain settings in your Doomain registrar panel and change the nameservers to your new host's nameservers. It will take one day to populate it..
Then its done..

I think you must inform both of them but the important one is you new service provider cause once the time of the service is over with your old domain service provider they gona stop the service automatically so important one's are the new one to countinue the working of your site but if you are looking for new hosting provider you must check http://www.drupalvaluehosting.com cause I am using them form about three months and I found them very good for both value for money and customer service
