Default Unlimited web hosting

I have seen people advertising unlimited web hosting at Ebay. I wonder how they would manage it if the sites grow dramatically.

Men, how can it be? It doesn't make sense and how will they provide unlimited hosting. They are just making money from people who really don't know about web hosting.

I agree with onesite. There is nothing like unlimited hosting in proper webmaster world.

There is a limit for that or just think won't you tube have used it.. There is a limit like 250GB HDD space and 2,000 GB Bandwith... So there is limit but normal sites don't use this much in a month.

Most web hosts know that the average site won't use that much space and bandwidth ever. And if they do they will probably terminate that account and say that their site is using high server resources which will be against their tos.

Jay

Although they say unlimited space the fact is that they wont let u store big files. Means u cant store mp3 files, mpeg files etc. I have read this complaint somewhere last day. U have to fill that unlimited space with "HTML".

I think its just sale technique to provide unlimited web space no body gona use much more of space in case of personal or small business site. I am using the services of a web hosing company and hardly use 20% of the allocated web space. But my sites run really fast and if you want to get information you can check them here" "www.drupalvaluehosting.com".

You can provide unlimited Data and storage without a doubt. What you have to read in the fine print is how much CPU Resource can you use at one time before you are over the resource limits of the account purchased. Space and data transfer really dosent mean anything any more. So hosting companies can offer unlimited space and data. It is pretty much like owning a Lamborghini. Sure you CAN go 200+ MPH but the roads and cops will only allow you to go 75 tops.
